This is a website that contains information on something called the ACEs score: https://acestoohigh.com/got-your-ace-score/.

ACEs stands for Adverse Childhood Experiences, and it is something that was developed following a study by Dr. Vincent Felitti, a doctor of preventive medicine, in 1985.

Dr. Felitti began to wonder about how life experiences might affect health when he noticed that about 50% of the patients in his obesity clinic were dropping out. Even more surprising was the fact that all of the patients who dropped out had been doing well and losing weight consistently.

You can read all about Dr. Felitti’s astonishing experiences with his patients that led him to explore how lifetime adverse experiences affect physical health by going to this website: https://acestoohigh.com/2012/10/03/the-adverse-childhood-experiences-study-the-largest-most-important-public-health-study-you-never-heard-of-began-in-an-obesity-clinic/.
